Project Description:
The decision to build the treatment plant building in wood was initially driven by the Red Stag Timber Board. The project aimed to demonstrate that Red Stag Timber could successfully and cost-effectively build a commercial premise using product produced by the sawmill.
Strategically, the knowledge gained during this project would be valuable to the business and assist with marketing wood as a viable option for future projects. Tactically, the building had to be completed on budget and within a very tight timeline.
The results delighted the Board and exceeded everyone’s expectations. The building is upheld as an excellent example of what Red Stag Timber is all about.
