The Minister for Building and Construction, Maurice Williamson, welcomed the release of two taskforce reports at the recent Building and Construction Sector Forum in Auckland.
Recommendations of the productivity taskforce included greater disclosure of the Government’s forward capital investment programme through the National Infrastructure Plan, improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Government’s own procurement practice and developing a sector skills strategy.
