NZ Wood is actively supporting the recovery efforts in Canterbury following both earthquakes.

This section of the NZ Wood website is designed to be an evolving resource which brings together information from multiple sources on the effects of the quake, the implications for rebuilding and technical information on seismic engineering and construction issues.

While the focus will lean towards wood as a building material, the information will not be limited strictly to wood, but will include all structural factors, materials and construction technologies relevant to wood’s performance and potential within the built environment.
