Pringle Richards and Sharratt
Supported by large glulam arches, the Sheffield Winter Garden utilizes both the aesthetic and structural qualities of the glulam wood extremely well.
Spanning 22 meters, the arches are designed to support the entire roof of the building. Constructed using laminated strips of untreated larch, the architects have anticipated the wood weathering over time.
