The Sant Sebastian Swimming Pool is contained within a tough concrete box punctured by bands of horizontal glazing.
The interior contrasts this with a refined roof structure of paired laminated timber trusses reminiscent of a boat’s hull. The trusses have been inverted so as to dip downwards across the water in an elegant sweeping arc. This inversion, combined with the close spacing, sets a rhythm that becomes the defining quality of the interior space.
