Beams - Hyjoist

Carter Holt Harvey Wood Products

Hyjoist is an engineered I-joist.

The flanges are made from laminated veneer lumber (LVL), which is intended for structural use. The web situated between the two flanges is constructed from plywood. The product is used predominantly to support the floor in a building, but can also be used as a rafter to support the roof. Hyjoist has an expected life span of 50 years when used in dry protected areas.
